Recognizable, yet Different

You might wonder how much sportier the Subaru Outback could get, especially since it is a highly sought-after adventure vehicle due to its rigid design. After all, why fix something that cannot be broken? Well, Subaru believes that just because something is not broken does not mean it cannot be improved, which is abundant in the 2020 Outback. This crossover will feature redesigned head and taillights along with a larger grille, a wider rear cargo bay area, and a new platform overall. This wheelbase is designed by Subaru to decrease engine and road noise as much as possible while improving structural rigidity which, when combined with its adaptable suspension and Subaru Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive, means the new Outback will be even more adaptable and comfortable when deriving over rockier terrain! The Outback will also come with a new available turbocharged 260-horsepower four-cylinder engine, which will take the place of the 3.6-liter I4 model of the previous generation.

While the 2019 Subaru Outback features standard EyeSight® Driver-Assist technology, the new Outback adds on one more convenient feature that is currently standard on the 2019 Outback: DriverFocus™ Distraction Mitigation System. This feature uses a special infrared camera sensor on the dashboard to detect your own facial movements on when driving somewhere like Prattville and can sense when the driver may be overly distracted or fatigued, sending you an audio alert when this occurs.
