Performance

Despite having standard Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive, the new Subaru Outback is quite fuel-efficient. The standard engine can drive an EPA-estimated 26 mpg in the city and 33 mpg on the highway. The turbo-four registers 23 mpg and 30 mpg in the city and on the highway, respectively.
The new Subaru Outback is also a capable off-roader, especially with the all-new Wilderness trim that brings various off-road features, benefiting drivers who wish to take adventurous trips. Some of the off-road features that are available for the Outback include an X-MODE® traction control system, 9.5-inch ground clearance and all-terrain tires.
When equipped with the turbo-four engine, the new Subaru Outback can tow up to 3,500 pounds, while the base engine manages to pull up to 2,700 pounds through Tuskegee.
Technology
This Subaru model offers two STARLINK® infotainment options. One has dual 7-inch touchscreens, while the 11-inch touchscreen is optional. Both touchscreens are easy to use thanks to their straightforward menus. They come standard with several features, such as Apple CarPlay®, HD Radio™, Bluetooth® connectivity and Android Auto™. The navigation system and Wi-Fi hotspot are included on the 11-inch touchscreen.
