For the past couple of years, the Montgomery Cancer Center has partnered with The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) and Montgomery Subaru through the Subaru Loves to Care initiative. The partnership has involved delivering blankets, patient care kits, and messages of hope to cancer patients for a number of years. On June 18th, Montgomery Subaru personally delivered these items to patients in treatment.

This year, as part of our Subaru Loves to Care initiative, Montgomery Subaru partnered with the Montgomery Cancer Center to bring warmth and comfort to their patients. During Subaru Loves to Care month this June, our team donated blankets, patient care kits, and message of hope cards to the patients at Montgomery Cancer Center. The staff at Montgomery Cancer Center warmly welcomed us into the waiting rooms and treatment rooms to personally distribute these items to each patient. It was incredibly touching to be able to speak with each patient and lift them up during their treatment. Montgomery Subaru has been partnering with the Montgomery Cancer Center since 2019 and looks forward to continuing to support improving the lives of cancer patients. We believe this is one way we can give back to the community through this impactful health and wellness campaign.

This event is a crucial source of funding for the Family Sunshine Center's programs and services. This year’s Boots and Bubbly Ranch Roundup was a resounding success, raising significant funds that will directly benefit survivors of abuse and their families. We are incredibly grateful to be part of such a meaningful cause and to witness the incredible generosity of our community.

Our team was proud to sponsor Alabama Herb Society's annual Herb Day celebration this April. This event brought together local gardeners, herbal enthusiasts, and nature lovers at Grace Presbyterian Church in Montgomery. Herb Day featured informative workshops, plant sales, and engaging activities for all ages, promoting the benefits of sustainable gardening and giving back to the planet. Montgomery Subaru's contribution allows the Alabama Herb Society to continue their mission to support public awareness about growing and using herbs, along with vegetable gardening. At Montgomery Subaru, our commitment to making a difference extends beyond the roads we travel. This year, as the presenting sponsor of Puppy Palooza at the Shoppes at Eastchase, we joined hands with the Montgomery Humane Society for a pawsome day of fun and support. Thanks to this event, Puppy Palooza was a success, with three dogs finding their furever homes and many others enjoying a fun-filled day of dog entertainment. At the event we offered custom engraved pet tags for a $10 donation, raising over $180 to benefit the Montgomery Humane Society. Additionally, staff members interacted with event goers and offered Subaru branded dog giveaways. Our involvement in Puppy Palooza underscores our ongoing commitment to supporting our friends at the Montgomery Humane Society and all of the animals they care for in the Montgomery area.

Montgomery Subaru is proud to announce that it has sponsored the Central Alabama CrimeStoppers Golf Tournament for the past five years. This year, the dealership donated $5,000 to the organization. Montgomery Subaru believes in supporting our community and making it a safer place to work and live, which is why Montgomery Subaru continues to support Central Alabama CrimeStoppers. Central Alabama CrimeStoppers is a nonprofit organization that brings together law enforcement, media, and the community to stop, solve, and prevent crime. CrimeStoppers depend on yearly donations to carry out their mission. As of November 1, 2023, donations like Montgomery Subaru’s helped CrimeStoppers place over 170 fugitives behind bars, pay over $38,000 in cash rewards, receive over 1,000 anonymous tips, cleared 285 cases, assisted with locating 51 missing people and recover 192 firearms in 2023. CrimeStoppers success for 2023 speaks volumes to the support they have from law enforcement, the media, and most importantly the public. CrimeStoppers believes when we all come together and work as one for the betterment of our communities, great things can happen. CrimeStoppers is grateful for the donation made by Montgomery Subaru, and they truly appreciate Montgomery Subaru’s continued support of their annual golf tournament, which is the organizations largest fundraiser. Montgomery Subaru is proud to support Central Alabama CrimeStoppers. Montgomery Subaru looks forward to supporting CrimeStoppers in the future as they work to make Alabama communities safer.

Thanks to Subaru Loves Pets, the Montgomery Humane Society had an adoption event on October 7, 2023 at our Shelter. We were able to reduce our adoption fees to $10 for all adoptable pets thanks to Montgomery Subaru. A very special dog, named T-Bone came into our shelter skin and bones, he was locked in a shed where the previous owners left him when they moved. With a lot of love and good food he was able to be put up for adoption. The photo attached is our Volunteer Coordinator along with his new parents and happy T-Bone. Thank you Montgomery Subaru for helping us save lives.

Montgomery Subaru is committed to supporting the local community, and one way they do this is through the Subaru Love Promise®. The Subaru Loves Learning® initiative is a commitment to making a positive impact on the world by supporting education. In 2023, Montgomery Subaru donated $3,000 to T.S. Morris Elementary School's AdoptaClassroom.org fund. They also hosted a school supply drive, collecting items for students in need. The AdoptaClassroom.org fund provides teachers with the financial resources they need to purchase essential classroom supplies, such as books, pencils, and notebooks. This donation helped T.S. Morris Elementary School start the school year strong and rely less on teachers to supply their own classrooms. The school supply drive collected a variety of items, including paper, notebooks, pencils, crayons, and markers. The Subaru Love Promise is a shining example of Montgomery Subaru's commitment to giving back to the community. Their support of T.S. Morris Elementary School is making a real difference in the lives of students and teachers.

Montgomery Subaru sponsored the annual Montgomery Area Council on Aging (MACOA) Drive for Meals on Wheels Golf Classic at Robert Trent Jones Golf Course in May 2023. This was one of the larger fundraising events for MACOA, which provides many programs for seniors in the Montgomery area, including a dedicated Meals on Wheels program. Montgomery Subaru was a hole sponsor for the event, which helped support operations of the tournament that day. With their support, MACOA was able to raise a great amount of funds for their senior support programs and continue to make a huge impact on seniors in our community.

The Woodland Creek Memorial Day 5K kicked off its inaugural run with a huge support from Montgomery Subaru. There were participants from all walks of life that came out to run the race on this beautiful holiday weekend. Participants were awarded a special medal for completing the race at the end and enjoyed additional celebrations amongst each other. We love the Subaru brand, and even had a few models displayed amongst the participants! The brand ties in so well with the outdoors, and aligns with the mission of spending more time outside and recreating in Montgomery. This race benefitted River Region Trails, which is a highly anticipated future network of greenways and paths that will better connect the Montgomery area. We are so excited to see this project continue and allow residents more opportunities to get exercise and move around the city.

We had a great time at Puppy Palooza this year! This event is held yearly at the Shoppes at Eastchase, and it is a huge fundraiser for the Montgomery Humane Society. Many pet vendors come out to the event to sell products and host pet-friendly activities. We couldn't have held the event without the support of Montgomery Subaru, who was the presenting sponsor. We had a great pawty that day, and adopted out five dogs! That alone is a huge success for any day at the shelter. In addition, Montgomery Subaru made custom engraved pet tags with a $5 donation, of which all the proceeds went to the Montgomery Humane Society. They also gave out great Subaru branded dog giveaways. We couldn't have had such a successful event without the support of Montgomery Subaru. So many dogs left the event happy and some even found their furever homes.

The Montgomery Humane Society was so honored to be chosen once again for the Subaru Share the Love® Event. Thanks to our great partnership with Montgomery Subaru, we received a check for $7,530 for our homeless pets. On April 22, Montgomery Subaru sponsored Alabama Herb Society's Herb Day. This event draws several thousand people to support local nurseries, food vendors, and craft makers in celebration of Earth Day. Montgomery Subaru also brought their TerraCycle® collection bins to collect hard to recycle items (snack wrappers, cups, lids) that were being used in concessions. These items will be sent to a facility that pelletizes to a plastic and then turned to park materials. This recycling contribution was a great tie in to our efforts on Earth Day. Herb Day was the best ever, and Montgomery Subaru contributed to its success.

This February, Montgomery Subaru sponsored the Montgomery Capital Rotary Club's Hearts for Children Gala. This event benefitted the Montgomery Capital Rotary Club Disaster Relief Initiative and Lunches for Learning, which provides funding for children in Honduras to receive a free daily lunch at school. This fundraiser event would not be successful without the support of sponsors like Montgomery Subaru. We hope to continue this event and partner with Montgomery Subaru to help different childrens organizations yearly.

Subaru USA is a nationwide partner of Meals on Wheels America and the largest automotive donor to Meals on Wheels. Subaru has helped deliver over 2.5 million meals to seniors around the country. In January 2022, The Montgomery Area Council on Aging (MACOA) benefitted from this outstanding relationship with the local dealership, Montgomery Subaru, as they partnered with MACOA to serve local seniors with a community garden. This garden provided fresh produce such as tomatoes, cucumber, zucchini, yellow squash, green beans, okra, eggplant, hot/mild peppers, and more. Employees of the local dealership created the garden behind their building. Because of this community garden, MACOA was able to distribute locally grown produce to Meals on Wheels clients. “A lot of these seniors are in areas where they don’t have access to fresh produce and fresh foods,” said MACOA. MACOA is happy to have Montgomery Subaru as a treasured partner in the fight to end hunger and isolation in Central AL.

On October 14, 2022 the Central Alabama CrimeStoppers Golf Tournament was held at Robert Trent Jones Golf Course. Montgomery Subaru signed up to be a Silver Sponsor which allowed us to raise more money than ever for our cause. The annual golf tournament is our largest fundraiser, and it allows us to continue to grow different outreach programs and support our mission of preventing crime in the Central Alabama area. Montgomery Subaru has committed to this fundraiser for over 5 years and we truly appreciate their continued support of Central Alabama Crimestoppers. Since initiated in 1997, CACS has contributed to 7,853 filed charges and apprehending 2,724 fugitives. Our program brings together law enforcement, media, and the community to stop, solve and prevent crime.

We had spooky fun at this year's Howl-O-Ween Festival sponsoring the Chick N Pups Canine Crusade, an animal rescue in South Alabama. Montgomery Subaru was a top sponsor and helped make this a successful first run. Montgomery Subaru brought out dog giveaways for every attendee, including Chewbaru toys, frisbees, tennis balls, and waste bag holders. In addition, they brought out their engraving machine and made custom tags for a $5 donation to Chick N Pups Canine Crusade. They raised an additional $50 toward their cause.

Thanks to our partnership with Montgomery Subaru, we had a special adoption event at our shelter on October 8, 2022 where we were able to reduce our adoption fees. Megan Campbell from Montgomery Subaru came to our shelter and made custom name tags for each pet that was adopted and gave some great giveaways. Thanks to Montgomery Subaru, we had 10 adoptions that day and the majority of them were adult dogs which are usually the last to be adopted. We love our partnership with Montgomery Subaru, they give back to the community in so many ways and they certainly helped save so many pets lives at our event.

For the last seven years, the plot of land behind Montgomery Subaru has been used for the betterment of people’s lives in a community garden. Each year, the space has grown to what is now a 1/8 acre space of Alabama-grown vegetables. It started as a way for employees and customers to take home nutritious food to their families. As the garden grew, there were more opportunities for this space to “give back.” Throughout the years, Montgomery Subaru has donated thousands of pounds of vegetables to various local charities. In 2022 they started a formal “Garden Share” to support the Montgomery Council on Aging, a local Meals on Wheels charity and Friendship Mission, a local homeless shelter. In summer 2022, the dealership staff planted 52 tomatoes, 8 eggplant, 16 bell pepper, 5 hot peppers, 3 rows green beans, 60 zucchini, 30 yellow squash, 28 cucumber, and 2 rows of okra. The garden has not only been a great team-building exercise for the staff, but its harvest also provides a great amount of nutritional value to those who need it most.

On April 30, 2022, The Shoppes at Eastchase held a Puppy Palooza benefiting the Montgomery Humane Society. Montgomery Subaru didn't hesitate to be the major Sponsor for this event. Operating two aging buildings 24 hours a day, every single day of the year takes a toll of the facilities. Having the funding to cover the costs of repairs for plumbing, heating and air conditioning, large appliances and electrical mishaps is critical to the operations at Friendship Mission, Inc. (FMI). For 25 years, Friendship Mission has served Montgomery and beyond with emergency shelter services for those who are homeless and a public soup kitchen for those who would be hungry without the service. In the wake of the pandemic, FMI has noticed an increasing demand for shelter and Soup Kitchen meals. The unexpected costs that have come with the increased demand for services could have had a negative impact on our budget, but Montgomery Subaru shared their love of community and service with us. The more than $7,000 raised for Friendship Mission through the Share the Love campaign and the countless garden produce hauls helped us operate in the face of more men, women, and children seeking emergency shelter and more people standing in line for Soup Kitchen meals. In 2021, Friendship Mission shelters and soup kitchen combined served 48,000 meals and sheltered nearly 300 people. At the rate of new intakes, we know that we will far surpass last year’s numbers. Food and financial assistance from Montgomery Subaru is love shared, returned, and appreciated!

Make-A-Wish Alabama Trailblaze Challenge is a unique endurance hiking event and more than 600 Alabama adventurers have taken on the Challenge. The assignment is clear: 26.3 miles in the Talladega National Forest in one day. This scenic trek will provide participants an opportunity for adventure, fitness and fun while directly impacting the lives of Alabama children fighting critical illnesses. Our goal was to raise one million dollars and through the community of Alabama and generosity of Montgomery Subaru we were able to exceed that goal. The impact of their donation will help us to continue to grant wishes to wish kids in Alabama, like wish kid Melody. She loves to swim, jump on her trampoline, and watch Frozen 2. She is described from her loved ones as spunky, just like her mom! She was diagnosed with cancer at the early age of 5 years old. Chemotherapy robbed some of the spunk in Melody. Her spirits were down amidst such a trying time. When Melody was asked what she wanted her wish to be, she wished to have a puppy of her own that she could take care of. Not just any puppy, a French bulldog puppy! Her French bulldog puppy was given to Melody with a pink bow and all! Melody’s puppy brought back Melody’s spunk and good spirits that cancer tried to take away from her.

The Montgomery Humane Society was presented a check for $7,147.00 from the Share the Love program on April 4, 2022. Our partnership with Montgomery Subaru is priceless, they continue to support our shelter and help so many homeless pets in our community. This donation will go to help dogs and cats get spayed/neutered, get heartworms treatment for so many dogs that entered our Shelter and of course to keep them fed and healthy. We cannot thank Montgomery Subaru enough for their continued support, professionalism and partnership. We can always count on them.

Last November and December, Montgomery Subaru supported Friendship Mission by collecting donation items as part of Subaru Loves to Help and the Subaru Share the Love Event. Throughout this time, Montgomery Subaru collected items such as disinfectant, paper goods, utensils, water, linens, and clothing items. In exchange, customers received a $20 coupon for servicing their Subaru vehicles during that time frame. Montgomery Subaru received an overwhelming amount of donations during this time. At the end of the donation period, there were two truckloads of donated items that were able to be donated to Friendship Mission in January. These items were especially needed during this time of year, after the holidays and COVID-19 case spikes. Friendship Mission is a local homeless shelter in the Montgomery area, which supports local men, women, and children and provides them with food and shelter 365 days of the year. They serve over 40,000 meals at their soup kitchens annually and provide relief for over 300 people seeking shelter in our area.

On frigid days we really struggle with having enough supplies to help people in need. We often come up short on beds, blankets, and socks—the warm elements that many of us take for granted. Both last year and then again, this year Montgomery Subaru stepped-in to fill the gap that they might not have realized they are filling. Blankets and socks and food…Who knew that a local car dealership is packed full of a team who thinks far beyond the walls of their office space? With the supplies from Montgomery Subaru, we can stretch beyond our shelter walls to help those who are unsheltered and cold these winter months. There are people who do not accept our shelter services, but they will accept a warm blanket and a new pair of socks. Most recently, we encountered a veteran on our front steps; a young woman who suffers mental health challenges; and a man who lives under a bridge. We were able to give them each a nice, new blanket and socks. In return we received warm smiles and the They are not the only unsheltered neighbors we have been able to help this winter season with supplies from Montgomery Subaru, but their stories stood out to us. We are grateful to Montgomery Subaru for joining us on our mission to help those experiencing extreme homelessness and hunger.

Thanks to Montgomery Subaru for participating in #SubaruLovesPets in October. Because of the support of Montgomery Subaru, the Montgomery Humane Society was able to have a special adoption weekend where we were able to reduce our adoption fees. Megan Campbell came to our shelter that weekend and gave out collars and leashes for each adoption along with a customized name tag for their collars. The Montgomery Humane Society was able to get 25 homeless pets adopted that weekend with the support of Montgomery Subaru. One of the adoptions was an underdog named Everett, he had to have his eye removed and we also had Cain adopted who was deaf. MHS loves working with Montgomery Subaru, they are always willing to help in any way to find loving homes for our homeless pets.

Throughout the month of August, Montgomery Subaru and its customers showed support to Thelma Smiley Morris Elementary by collecting encouraging messages for teachers. Teachers are the backbone of our community here in Montgomery and they can’t be thanked enough for their dedication to youth. Montgomery Subaru also generously donated $3,000 through Adopt-A-Classroom to Thelma Smiley Morris Elementary. These funds can be used by school administrators and teachers to purchase necessary classroom supplies that are needed throughout the year. Montgomery Subaru hopes these funds will help enhance the many classrooms at this school and take the burden off teachers during this crucial time in education. We really appreciate team at Montgomery Subaru enough for making this happen for us!

Thank you to Drew Gim at Montgomery Subaru for making our purchase so easy. Drew kept in personal contact with me during the entire time that our Subaru was on order. The entire staff was very eager to help and make sure our needs were met. Thank you making our first Subaru purchase an amazing one. Brooke Smith

MONTGOMERY, Ala. (April 14, 2021) -- Montgomery Subaru once again selected Montgomery Area Food Bank (MAFB) to participate in Subaru's "Share the Love" program as a Hometown Charity! Today, Montgomery Subaru’s Vice President John Danielson and Marketing Director Megan Campbell presented the proceeds from this year’s campaign $7,020, which equates to more than 36,500 meals, to Montgomery Area Food Bank (MAFB) Chief Executive Officer, Rich Deem. During the past 13 years Subaru of America, Inc. has donated $250 to the purchaser's choice of participating charities. During that time Subaru and its retailers have made a real impact, donating more than $170 million to a wide range of national and local charities. Montgomery Subaru is a long-time partner of MAFB, having chosen MAFB to “Share the Love” for several years now. Montgomery Subaru has also provided plenty of sweat equity too by volunteering in the warehouse and even donating fresh produce from their company garden. Thank you Subaru…we’re definitely feeling the love.

On behalf of the Alabama Herb Society, we would like to express our sincere appreciation for your support of our 24th Annual Herb Day Event held on April 17 2021. Your Rose Level Donation of $500.00 was used toward the support of planned events on Herb Day. Thank you again for your support.

We are so happy to have corporate sponsors like Montgomery Subaru to support our efforts. Central Alabama CrimeStoppers is the leading non-profit agency that supports local law enforcement to provide information about crimes committed in the community. Funds are used to pay out rewards from anonymous tipsters who provide information about crimes in our local community. These calls result in solved crimes and make a huge impact in our community. We live in a much better place by having CrimeStoppers as a resource. This October, Montgomery Subaru sponsored our annual fundraising event at Robert Trent Jones Golf Course. We couldn’t do what we do without support from businesses like Montgomery Subaru and appreciate the partnership throughout the years. Thank you so much for your support and we look forward to a continued partnership!

We want to thank Montgomery Subaru for their participation and donation to our first annual Breast Cancer Scramble in Wetumka! Montgomery Subaru donated two Subaru cruiser bikes as a prize drawing for our event, and we couldn’t be more appreciative. Through their contributions and community participation, we were able to raise over $5,000 for Joy to Life Foundation, which provides free breast cancer screenings to medically underserved women in Alabama. We look forward to next year’s event and know we couldn’t do it without local business support like Montgomery Subaru.

The Montgomery Humane Society takes care of several feral cats that live outside of our shelter. The weather is either very hot or very cold and we wanted to provide the cats with better shelter. We asked Montgomery Subaru if they would like to sponsor a shelter for our cats and they didn't hesitate to help. We call the shed "The Outback" for one of their great models of cars. Their dedication to our community is outstanding and we love partnering with them with animal-related events, they are always willing to help. We love the Danielson family.

Child Protect cannot say enough good things about Subaru of Montgomery and the Danielson family. From partnering with our agency to provide snacks and blankets for the children we serve through Subaru Loves to Care to a donation through Subaru Share the Love, they have gone above and beyond for the child abuse victims in our community. The recent Share the Love donation came at a perfect time, with our spring fundraiser being cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and an uptick in child abuse cases. Thank you Subaru of Montgomery and the Danielsons for all you do for our community!

Thank you so much for being a most awesome sponsor for this year's Montgomery CW and Alabama News Network 2nd annual Putts Fore Paws Golf Tournament on behalf of our shelter! With your help they donated a total of $4140 to our shelter today! That is simply awesome for just the 2nd year and a testament to supporters like you who helped make it such a success! As I type, we are caring for over 269 pets in our shelter (3879+ incoming so far this year) so this money will certainly be put to quick use in a number of ways. Again, thank you for your support and already looking forward to Putts Fore Paws 2020!

For the second year in a row, Montgomery Subaru customers have demonstrated their support of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics), literacy, and learning through the generous donation of 150 STEM-related books to thirty Montgomery Public Schools (MPS) elementary libraries. On October 4, 2019, John and Megan Danielson along with Kahner Calloway attended a training session for MPS library media specialists to present the donated books and share information related to the Subaru Loves Learning initiative. Our elementary library media specialists were thrilled to receive the book donations which will add needed STEM resources to their library collections to support teaching and learning in their schools. This continued partnership between MPS and Subaru ensures that students and teachers will have books available in a continually growing and expanding STEM library collection to broaden students' knowledge of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics and peak their interest to learn more about these vital areas of study. Thank you to John and Megan Danielson and the Subaru family of customers who made this partnership and book donation possible. We look forward to many more years of working together to promote learning and literacy. Dr. Allison Blakeney, Montgomery Public Schools

I want to sincerely thank Montgomery Subaru for the kind donations of blankets for use by the patients at the Montgomery Cancer Center. Donations like these provide an opportunity for a volunteer to interact and provide comfort and encouragement to a patient. Thank you for your faithfulness. It is donations like these that help Montgomery Cancer Center and our volunteers to continue our mission of supporting cancer patients in Central Alabama. Their generosity is so important to a patient's treatment and time here at the Montgomery Cancer.

On June 10, 2019, the Alabama Gulf Coast Chapter and Montgomery Subaru delivered messages of hope and 80 blankets to the Montgomery Cancer Center! I arrived at the Montgomery Cancer Center and met my Subaru contact, Megan, her mother, Karen, and a Subaru Ambassador, Helen. Nita, the Patient Relations Coordinator was telling us how in awe she is at just how many patients they get in there each day. She said they have 50 chemo chairs and many times they are all full. After snapping a picture, Nita graciously gave us a tour of the facility. It is extremely nice, complete with a coffee shop and a pharmacy. When we walked to the center of the building, we saw a bell set up next to a giant ribbon cut out. Pasted on the cut out were ribbons of all different colors to represent all of the different cancer survivors who rang that bell when they finish their chemo treatment! That was my favorite part of this visit, to see all of those ribbons whether they were blue, orange, pink etc; all of them representing survivors of such a terrible disease that we are all fighting to cure. Nita let us know that the blankets would be distributed by patient educators to new patients to make them feel comforted and welcome. Many thanks to everyone at Montgomery Subaru and Montgomery Cancer Center. We are grateful to be able to use this partnership with Subaru and the Montgomery Cancer Center to be able to spread the resources of LLS throughout more areas of Alabama! Thank you for this memorable day spreading love and hope to cancer patients and sharing our mission.

On April 5, 2019, John and Megan Danielson came to our Shelter and presented us a check for $13,092.68! The funds were from the Share the Love event and we are so indebted to Montgomery Subaru for this donation. These funds saved hundreds of lives with spaying/neutering and medical treatment. We love partnering with Montgomery Subaru and it has been a tremendous gift for the homeless animals at the the Montgomery Humane Society.

Every October, Central Alabama CrimeStoppers (CACS) holds their annual fundraising golf tournament at Robert Trent Jones in Prattville as the main source to support our annual programs. We are proud to say that this tournament was our most successful event ever and could not have been done without the support of local businesses like Montgomery Subaru. They have supported us in this sponsorship for the last three years and we look forward to a continued partnership. Plus, Montgomery Subaru personnel go above and beyond to serve on our CACS Board. CACS is a non-profit agency 100% funded by private donations/fundraising, and could not run without the support of our local community. Funds are primarily used to pay out rewards from anonymous tipsters with information about crimes committed in the community. These calls result in thousands of arrests and substantial amounts of property recovery that make a powerful and positive difference in our community.

This past August, Montgomery Subaru supported teachers and students in Montgomery County by partnering with the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) to present over 150 donated science trade books to local school libraries in the Montgomery Public Schools system. Each book was donated on behalf of a customer who purchased a new Subaru in the month of August. All books are designated award-winning by AAAS, provide STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) -related content, and support reading and literacy throughout Montgomery elementary and middle schools.

Thanks to Montgomery Subaru's major sponsorship once again, MHS was able to have our 18th Annual Walk N Wag event that helps our homeless pets of our community. Montgomery Subaru's tent is always the most popular one at this event, giving away great items for your pets. We love our partnership with the Danielson's, they are always ready to help our pets and they are a great asset to our community.

We are proud to have Montgomery Subaru serve as a Corporate Route Partner to deliver hot nutritious and delicious meals to homebound seniors in the City of Montgomery. Team Subaru delivers happy smiles and hellos as they share meals, compassion, and service to homebound seniors neighbors on the route. The volunteers help us fight hunger one senior at the time. The team at Subaru has been a great partner of MACOA as they coordinated a pet food drive to collect food for the four-legged friends of our senior clients. We could not fulfill our mission without the endless commitment of individual and corporate volunteers from Subaru who give their time and talents to serve seniors. You are the open hearts and helping hearts to keep the wheels rolling for Meals on Wheels. Thank you, Montgomery Subaru, for Sharing the Love for seniors, our Furry Friends pet food program, and for being a valuable partner of MACOA!

Child Protect, Children’s Advocacy Center serves child abuse victims of Montgomery County in Central Alabama. Our agency provides a child friendly environment where children can come tell about their alleged abuse one time to a trained forensic interviewer, thus lessening the trauma experienced by the children and their families. Last year, Child Protect conducted 628 forensic interviews where there were reports of alleged abuse, with 54% of those being sex abuse cases. Child Protect exists not only to lessen the trauma experienced by the child, but to help build a stronger case for investigators and prosecutors. Our programs include the forensic interview, post-trauma counseling, and family advocacy. All of these services are provided at no cost to the child abuse victim, their families, or the investigative agencies. Child Protect was honored to partner with Montgomery Subaru for their Stuff the Subaru drive. We received items such as snacks, juices, and bottled water to serve to our clients as well as office and cleaning supplies to help our staff. The Subaru blankets with inspirational quotes and messages to the children that visit our agency were our favorite items we received!! We are blessed to know the generous owners, staff, and customers of Montgomery Subaru and cannot thank you enough!

Montgomery Subaru and their Share the Love promise initiative is a tremendous partner to the mission of the Montgomery Area Food Bank in providing much-needed funds and food to assist those we serve in our 35-county service coverage area. This annual campaign resonates true caring for our local community and beyond. 2017 Share the Love Campaign raised and donated over $14,000 to the Montgomery Area Food Bank. This is equivalent to over 91,000 pounds of food/product that we were able to distribute to those we serve, which provided much-needed help to those that feel forgotten and with very little hope. Feeding someone who needs to be fed is a gift and has been made an option for many through this wonderful donation of caring for the local community by Montgomery Subaru. We are so very grateful for their partnership and all that it does for the overall benefit of those that we serve. John, Karen and Meagan Danielson and their team here locally are wonderful, caring, giving people that emanate an air of true compassion. They also support Montgomery Area Food Bank with one of our other initiatives called "Plant a Row". Planting an extra row or two in your personal garden and donating that fresh, healthy produce to benefit others. Montgomery Subaru sponsored our annual Egg Hunt on Gunter AFB. They provided over 5,000 candy-filled eggs and prizes! The event was a huge success and we couldn't have done it without them. Subaru truly cares about the local military community and we are grateful they support Maxwell/Gunter. Thanks again, John, Megan, and the entire Montgomery Subaru team for all you guys have done and continue to do!

Bluewater Broadcasting held a 3-week long promotion called "Paw It Forward" where we partnered with 6 River Region businesses, including Montgomery Subaru, to collect donations for the River Region Humane Societies, including Montgomery, Prattville/Autauga and Elmore County. We had Bluewater collection barrels posted at each sponsor location, where listeners were free to stop by at any time and drop donations for the humane societies. These items included food, treats, toys, bedding, cleaning supplies, etc. At the end of the three-week promotion, we ended up collected over 3,000 pounds of dog food, alone! This was one of our most successful promotions, and we could not have done it without the help of our sponsors!

Two Subaru Outbacks. I needed to replace my 4 wheel drive truck, and decided on a 2018 Outback. When I became aware of all the safety features, as well as a long list of other desirable features, I also got an Outback for my wife. We both love our Subaru Outbacks. I do landscape and wildlife photography, and the all wheel drive will take me where I need to go, and do so in comfort. Of course Katie the Border Collie loves her Outback.

I decided to replace my aging truck with a Subaru Outback, and made arrangements to do so. When I became aware of all the safety features, I wanted to get an Outback for my wife, who protested a bit about giving up her Prius. The owner at Montgomery Subaru went above and beyond to make it possible. My wife now loves her Subaru, and I like mine better every time I drive it. The dealer is there is support the Subaru in every way possible. My only regret is that I did not find out about the Subaru years ago.

The City of Montgomery is pleased to announce Montgomery Subaru's sponsorship of the 9th Annual Riverwalk Wine Festival to be held on Saturday, October 20th, 2018. This is the second year that we have partnered with Montgomery Subaru. The Riverwalk Wine Festival has become the premier annual wine event for central and south Alabama, drawing wine enthusiast from across the South. In 2017 USA Today listed the Riverwalk Wine Festival as one the top 15 food and wine events for Fall. During the event Montgomery Subaru places vehicles strategically throughout the venue and offers refreshing non-alcoholic beverages and prizes under their Subaru tent. Additionally, every participant at the event receives a complimentary wine glass bearing the event and Montgomery Subaru logos. Now in it's 9th year, The Riverwalk Wine Festival has experienced significant growth and with the help of strategic partners such as Montgomery Subaru looks forward to a great future.

The Montgomery Humane Society LOVES Montgomery Subaru! Montgomery Subaru was our Major Sponsor for our 17th annual Walk N Wag fundraiser event. Without their help we wouldn't be able to have a successful event that helps over 8600 homeless animals that comes through our doors. Their booth is the most popular and all the attendees love their giveaways. We look forward to working with them every year.

In an effort to make a positive impact on the health and wellness of our local community, Montgomery Subaru supported the Montgomery Area Council on Aging (MACOA) / Meals on Wheels as part of a larger Subaru of America, Inc. (SOA) initiative that month called Subaru Loves to Care. Throughout June 2017, team members from Montgomery Subaru supported their local community's health and wellness by partnering with Meals on Wheels. Montgomery Subaru asked customers to donate dry pet food to homebound seniors in need and provided a co-branded t-shirt to customers in an effort to raise awareness. Montgomery Subaru also donated $500 directly to Meals on Wheels and supported two meal delivery routes where they delivered hot meals to seniors and provided their pets' food. Over 240 pounds of dry pet food was delivered to Meals on Wheels' Furry Friends Pet Program.

Montgomery's Subaru Retailer epitomizes the true meaning of Love for the community and the Promise of giving back. Partnering with Montgomery Area Council On Aging as Meals On Wheels volunteers in June, Karen and Megan Danielson packaged and delivered hot, nutritious meals to homebound seniors who welcomed their happy hellos. Clients with pets also received food for their dogs and cats as a part of the Furry Friends Program. The dealership became a collection point for those employees, customers and neighbors wanting to make pet food donations. All who donated received a free Loves to Care t-shirt and a Subaru badge. Over 240 pounds of pet food collected was delivered by General Manager John Danielson to MACOA. Yes, it's a family affair as all three of the Danielsons presented our local non-profit a $500 check to help meet local seniors' needs. And, their promise to us now as Corporate Route Partners is to continue to volunteer every month for a Meals On Wheels route. The truth be known Montgomery Subaru Loves to Help and Loves to Care. MACOA is so very grateful for our new partnership.

On behalf of Maxwell Air Force Base, I would like to extend a heart-felt thank you to Montgomery Subaru for sponsoring the 2017 Heritage to Horizon Air Show! The event would not have been possible without their support. Subaru’s generous contribution helped our base bring the local community together for an unforgettable weekend of history, entertainment, and military culture. Sincerely, Paige Thornton Commercial Sponsorship Coordinator Maxwell AFB Marketing

When John Danielson informed me that the Montgomery Humane Society was their charity choice for "Share the Love" program, our Staff and Board of Directors were so honored and excited. The Montgomery Humane Society has partnered with the Montgomery Subaru for several years now, John and his team are so supportive of our cause. Montgomery Subaru has been one of our largest sponsors for the past several years at our annual Walk N Walk, we have been invited to come bring our homeless dogs to the dealership for an adopt-a-thon and now being the recipient of "Share the Love", it just goes to show what a great community involved business the Montgomery Subaru is! Our homeless animals have now a better chance of being adopted thanks to them!

Montgomery Subaru has chosen Montgomery Area Food Bank to be their hometown Charity of Choice for the past two years with their annual "Share the Love" event that runs through the holiday season. We (MAFB) are so grateful for the impact that their donation(s) make for the over 350,000 Alabamians in need in our 35-county coverage area. This allows us to provide foods to insecure families and individuals across Alabama. Your generosity provides hope and nourishment to many others.

Thanks to Montgomery Subaru's book drive, our library received a wonderful donation of over 100 science books! These books will be enjoyed by our middle school students for many years to come. We are very thankful to Montgomery Subaru for their commitment to education and giving back to the community!

Thank you Montgomery Subaru for sponsoring our 2015 2nd Annual St. Jude Bowl-a-thon. We knocked it out of the park this year! What a fun and productive night we had raising money for the precious kids at the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. With the help from Montgomery Subaru, we were able to TRIPLE the amount made during our first year! Once again, thank you Montgomery Subaru for EVERYTHING!!!

We would like to thank our customers for participating in our E Waste Recycling event during the month of April. With your help, we were able to prevent 5,881 lbs of carbon emissions from polluting the atmosphere. This is equivalent to saving 226 trees, 1,000 gallons of gasoline, 8,526 plastic bottles, and 39,214 aluminum cans. Thank you for helping strengthen the Subaru Love Promise!

The American Red Cross is excited to partner with Montgomery Subaru by hosting a blood drive. Come out and donate blood on July 25th, from 10:00 am - 2:00 pm. You don't need a special reason to give blood. You just need your own reason. Some of us give blood because we were asked by a friend, some know that a family member or a friend might need blood some day or some believe it is the right thing we do. Whatever your reason, the need is constant and your contribution is important for a healthy and reliable blood supply. And you'll feel good knowing you've helped change a life. It feels great to donate! You will be someone's hero in fact, you could help save up to three lives with just one donation. Tina D.

Montgomery Subaru car guys! It was really cool to have a car sponsor with us this year, but especially one who supports people AND pets! It was great of y'all to jump in and check out our dog scene! So we have a few words about what your attendance means to all of us: We wanted to personally thank you for attending Bark for Life this year. Without your presence at the event we would not have been able to raise nearly $15,000 this year!! What a fantastic way to better our world. We have all been impacted in some way by cancer but we don't always know how to help. Your HELP this year will further cancer research and help families who cannot afford cancer treatment options. It will also provide transportation, housing, meals and other expenses for families traveling out of town with their loved ones for treatment. In addition, your donation allows the American Cancer Society to keep a 24 hour support hotline open for patients and their families who need someone to talk to. Your donation also went to provide wigs, hairpieces, hats, turbans and breast cancer necessities for patients. Your donation of time and money has touched the hearts of all of our staff but also many lives through the American Cancer Society. This was really amazing. We rose more this year than ever before and it was because you were there. So THANK YOU! Dr. Lydia Glasscock, DVM Hanna White, LVT Morgan McKenzie, Bark for Life Event Coordinator Goodwin Animal Hospital, Atlanta Highway

Montgomery Subaru was our major sponsor for our 14th Annual Walk N Wag 1 mile pledge walk. This fundraiser brings awareness of homeless pets and celebrates the bond or owned pets. John Danielson was so great and professional to work with. At the event they brought out two models of Subaru and made "dog tags" for registrants dogs for free. Their booth had the longest line at all times. Thanks to their sponsorship, Montgomery Humane Society raised $17,383 for our homeless pets. We look forward to a long partnership with Mr. Danielson.

I am a member of the River Region Subaru Club based in Montgomery, Alabama. Our club has over 70 members and we are a very active organization. Montgomery Subaru has hosted two great car shows for our club in 2014. During these car shows the dealership provided delicious food, drinks, door prizes, and even had a raffle for some amazing Subaru gear such as Oakley sunglasses, Nike hats, Ogio backpacks, and more! On December 5th, Montgomery Subaru is teaming up with the River Region Subaru Club to host a movie night and canned food drive. Admittance for every club member will be 2 non-perishable food items, which will be donated to the Montgomery Area Food Bank. Our club is extremely thankful for Montgomery Subaru allowing us to have events and fundraisers at their dealership, and we look forward to a long relationship together!
Did Montgomery Subaru go above and beyond, provide exceptional service, or support causes that are important to you? We'd love to hear about it.
